Chances of new park reservations availability on early June?

Hi
Have you heard any plans of increasing capacity for a trip early June?
Thanks

There appeared to be waves of availability pop up in the APR system. Without official word nobody is certain if they were just resorting buckets, deleting reservations that were not attached to ticket media, adding more slots or some combo of those.

I think it’s very likely capacity will be increased for June. There were already 2 resorts scheduled to open the first week and they’ve even added another. The hotel side of BC, BW, and WL will be re-opening between June 1 and 6, Poly isn’t far behind with a scheduled opening in July.

My optimistic side says if WDW is planning to increase capacity then they’re also likely to have plans about reopening more attractions and restaurants. So far we have seen some dates come out for reopening restaurants.

Just wondering, if capacity is reached in park reservations, but then 25 people cancel, will they open park reservations again for 25 more people?

I think so, yes, becuase there are reports of people being able to add last minute reservations by “pounding the app” similar to the old fastpass refresh method.

As people cancel, reservations are added all the time. BUT they do not show up on the calendar if it is just a few reservations here and there. You have to actually go in and try to book.

We’re going this weekend and yesterday I kept refreshing for MK and did eventually get park passes so just keep trying and you might get some.

If i buy park tickets for one person/date to try making park reservations but I cant get what I want .. is it possible to keep the park tickets open for another person/date after?

You can always reassign tickets in the app from one person to another, as long as they haven't been used yet. Similarly you can change the date/days using the app, but will get charged the price difference.
Edit: To change the ticket days/dates, click on "change ticket." To reassign it to a different person click on "reassign ticket."

Can you call and change your park rather than chasing it online? I have MK booked for June 1 but we’re staying at BWV and walking to HS would be so much easier. I don’t want to risk losing our MK reservations to see if we happen to get a HS reservation. (And we’re staying at WL in July with a HS reservation. I’m so backwards with these stays)

You can call, but realistically there is no advantage over you doing it online. The phone CMs use the same reservation system as the general public. They will have to cancel your MK reservation to try and book HS.
