Chances of Low March Break SW Price?

I am kicking myself as I had been regularly checking SW to see when their March dates would open up and of course the one day I didn't check they released the dates. ARGHH!!! Of course all the $59 flights were unavailable and today when I checked I noticed that their internet special rate had gone up to $139 (though still unavailable). So now have I missed the boat for decent airfare for March Break?

We are cruising DCL March 11-15 and were hoping to fly down on the 9th or 10th and stay until the 17th. Last year we did the 3 day on the Wonder but left a few days prior to the official start of March Break so I think that is why I got a fairly good rate ($703 US for the 4 of us--we booked this in Jan).

Have you seen prices drop and dates open up for March Break closer to the date or is that time blacked out? (Prices out of Pearson are even more insane--so that is not an option) I prices remain high we might have to DRIVE (yuck).

I booked a March 24th return for 5 of us @ $56 each...can't beat that for March Break!

I don't know where you live but if possible have you tried departures from Detroit? I found they had more open cheap seat dates than Buffalo (I assume that's where you meant your dep from). We booked for Mar 13-19 no problem.
