Chances of getting VGF during holidays

Sorry if this has already been posted but I was wondering of the chances of getting a 1 bedroom at VGF for non-owners, especially during the holiday season like dec 20-31. What about 1/1-1/5 since it still technically should be new years break.

I am guessing your chances are near zero...the number of DVC rooms at the GF is pretty small and that is one of the busiest times of year

Nobody has ever booked VGF over Christmas at 7 (or 4) months so not even sure how to handicap this.

Probably be some availability but there will also be a mad crush of non-owners looking to book when the time arrives.
