Chances of getting things 7 months out

We are planning to rent a studio at BWV or BCV (would also possibly do VWL or AKV savanna) for 10 nights June 2015. We want to go through a broker, so chances are that we won't be able to reserve until 7 months window (we are trying now).

So are chances good of getting one of these or next to impossible?

Ten is always tricky because you can reserve seven from your first night - but the other three need to be added night by night. Through a broker - they might wait until three night in to be able to pull the whole reservation together at once - otherwise its sort of a burden for the person renting points - and they might not find and owner who wants the complexity (there is always another renter coming down the pike when you deal with a broker - and at seven months, time is still on your side). HOWEVER the good news is that time of year is not a terribly busy DVC time, and you have LOTS of flexibility in resorts - something is very likely to be available at one of those four resorts. Just make a priority list of which order you want.

June is a moderate DVC demand month. BWV pool/garden view, VWL, and AKV standard and savanna view are highly likely to be open as long as you reserve 7 months out (in other words reserve the first 7 nights exactly 7 months out and add three). BCV also has a decent chance of being open although a studio could be missing a day around special event weekends (like Star Wars) or right at end of month as you fold into July 4 holiday time. If, however, you want AKV value or club level, or BWV standard or boardwalk view, your chances are much lower as those can be gone at 7 months out any time of year,

Thanks for your responses! It is good to know the demand that time of year is moderate.

I am trying to hit mid-June (so after Star Wars, unfortunately and before 4th of July).

Guess I just have to be patient now. And if worse comes to worse, we can just do a moderate through Disney.
