Chances for BCV late Aug 7 mo dedicated 2BR

I'm trying to wait patiently for the 7 month window to open but I just wanted to ask some of the experts. What are my chances of getting at dedicated 2BR the week of August 27th to September 4th at the Beach Club Villas? Is the holiday weekend going to impact my chances?

I was able to last year with no problem at the seven month mark but I was only booking a studio for two nights. I also booked at 1 bed standard at BWV for a week.

We have been able to switch to a 2BR at BCV twice...the first time was in 2008...the 3rd week of August...and again in 2009....the last week of August...both times at the 7th month mark we got a lock off 2br and waitlisted the dedicated with 2 beds..both times we were lucky and the waitlist worked...no expert so i honestly don't know if the holiday weekend will impact your chances or not

I usually book at my home resort at 11 months (or as early as possible) in order to secure airline tickets, then try to move to my desired resort at the 7 month window. It is, of course, hit or miss but with many school back in class, I'd like your chances!

Dedicated two bedroom could be hard. Especially if you want two queens in the second bedroom - that wil be close to impossible.

We were fortunate for our upcoming trip over spring break the last weekend in March. We booked THV at 10 months, and then I called right on the 7 mo mark for our last 3 out of 7 days to y and switch to a 2 bdrm at BCV. They were wide open and I was able to get a dedicated 2 bdrm. So excited to try both the resorts. We just bought into DVC and DH and I took a trip this fall, this is the first family trip. My kids are so excited. Good luck to you. We got a two bedroom at the BCV for late August last year, but NO two queens in the second bedroom (it was dedicated, but with the pullout). The CM said those had been booked months earlier.

The toughest night to get for a holiday weekend like that is the Sunday night, since people have the Monday off, but the points are weekday levels. But with many schools back in session by then, you may be lucky.

We were able to secure 6 nights BLT dedicated 2 BR August 11th of this year. I called the 1st day, no problems! Good luck. I know we're excited to stay here.

I do not know about August but I know if trying for any two bedrooms the first week of July. If it is not Saratoga or old key west they are saying no availability.

well today all things changed for us we were able to snag 5 nights at BCV and 3 at BLT in July so we are doing a split stay. Hoping it turns out great.
