Chance of Boardwalk view at 7 months?

I know BW views are hard enough to get at 11 months, but it's the last trip my mother in law will be able to take with us. We're really hoping it's possible as our home resort is OKW and we do truly love it there, but wanted to try something different for her last trip. For us it's boardwalk view only or back to good ole OKW. We'll need a two bedroom if that helps any.

Does anyone have any tricks to make something like this happen. We really have no interest in a preferred view or standard view and BCV is not an option for us.

We're also needing this at a rather busy time November 26 2009 (Thanksgiving day) through December 5th. I know I'm probably asking the impossible, but if anyone would know it would be someone from these boards.

Try and expect to waitlist, but don't get your hopes too high. If you were trying for a lower use time, I would say you have a chance. But Thanksgiving?

It's very unlikely - that's one of the most popular times of the year.

Call as soon as your 7 month window opens and waitlist. Maybe you will get lucky.

You could rent points from a Boardwalk owner, then rent out your OKW points. Otherwise, I really doubt you'll find that week available at seven months. Or you could try and trade points with a BWV owner - there may be one hoping to get an OKW Grand Villa......

I just got BWV for March last week, so it never hurts to try!

I have had spectacular luck on the waitlist, so I would encourage you to try if you can. The other option, as someone said, is try to transfer/swap/rent BW points and get the 11 month window.

FYI, I just booked part of Jersey week for my MIL some time between the 11 month and 7 month window. I had an easier time getting her a BW View than getting her a standardard view. We had to waitlist the standard view studio, and ended up getting it.
