Champagne...

So it's an hour to go until midnight here but I popped open a small bottle of the bubbly for my friends on the east coast and in the midwest. Is it just me or does champagne make anyone else here burp like crazy?

I'm in australia so we have already seen in the new year and it is 5.15pm on the 1st Jan, 2009. It is warm and sunny here so we are spending the day around the pool.

Wish it was warm enough to swim here. They are predicting snow this weekend.
