I am sure this has been posted and answered before but am thinking when it is time to book on line would like to do this. Can anyone advise if they think it is worth it and what is the earliest time you can book. Also do they serve every day, and what do you get to eat and drink please.

I'll tell you what I can;

Yes you can book on line. I think I read 75 days out for returning cruisers and 60 days out for all others.

You get one glass of champagne (we made out own mimosas with ours) with the reservation and fee. Sorry, the only time I have been so far someone else picked up the cost so I don't remember for sure, maybe $10. Additional alcohol is charged but regular dining room beverages are available.

The menu was fabulous. Pizza made to order and several other menu items but also amazing buffets.

Brunch is available on sea days only.

Sorry, I can be more exact but it has been almost 2 years but I am going back in 14 days. If no one else comes along before then I'll give you thespecifics when I get back.

We went to the Palo brunch on our 4 day cruise and it was on Wednesday from 10am-noon. I do not know the exact days on a 7 night cruise. We made our reservations when we boarded the ship. You make Palo brunch ressies at the same place that Palo dinner ressies are made. You recieve the time and place when you check-in to board the ship. I have heard mention on these boards that you can now make ressies online after your cruise is paid in full. I thought it was definitely worth it. It is $10 per person and then you add your own gratuity when you sign the receipt. One part is a buffet whith shrimp, crab legs, breads, fruits, cheese, crackers, and salads and the other part is made to order items that include lunch and breakfast. The breakfast selections include pancakes, and eggs benedict, florentine, and julia (has salmon in it) and the lunch selections include things like pasta, beef, and chicken. There are also made to order pizzas and a wonderful assortment of desserts. Are you hungry now? :earboy2:

Yes it is so worth it!!! We made our ressies for 10:30 am and stayed about 2 hours. The food is awesome!! :flower:

My mom made reservations for 6 people on our upcoming west coast cruise. A meal without the kids whoo hoo :cool1:

The brunch is awesome!! So worth it!! We went at 11am and we were still full at dinner time from the brunch so we skipped dinner that night!! Its 10.00 per person plus gratuity.

Yep, those crab legs and eggs benedict just convinced me!!

thanks to everyone for their replies - always fancied a champagne breakfast but will still think on this one.

the brunch is so worth it! After couple of days i was SO tired of the regular breakfast everywhere else that this was a very welcome change! I think the max is 6-8 people at a table. I remember a large group trying to make a ressie and they would reserve table near each other but could not get all 20 at one table! It was by far the best $$$ we spent on the cruise...my hubby wants to go twice this next cruise!!

I like brunch, but, how different is this from the regular ship breakfast, or lunch? Particularly if you are only getting one glass of champagne.

.

i think it's 90 days out for cc club members, and 75 for all others, online. you should check your reservations online, just to make sure! cuz they tell you!

and yes, it is so worth it! i think i like brunch more than dinner! but they both are good! i preferred the brunch, cuz i like to see what i'm getting, before i get them, and i love all that variety! :flower:

I think you are right about the 90/75 days for ressies. When I talked to the DCL rep the other day, she said 90 for cc members and I wrote it down as she said it.

The Palo brunch is VERY different from the other breakfast available onboard. There are 5 sections to the buffet. One has seafood (crab legs, caviar, etc), cold cuts, cold salads. Another has cheese and crackers. Another has sweet breakfast items such as sticky buns, STOLLEN BREAD :goodvibes with preserves, whipped cream and berries, danishes, crossants, etc. Yet another is desserts such as cakes, mouses, etc. The fifth section is what you order from your server including the Palo pizza (we had the sweet pizza - YUM) as well as eggs benedict (and two other similiar styles) and more lunch type items such as pasta, chicken and filet mignon.

A glass of champange for each in your party is included in the fee. They will also provide Martinelli's sparkling cider if you prefer something non-alcoholic.

Palo brunch is offered on sea days and, on western itineraries, the morning of Key West.

I have to say that we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were there eating for nearly 2 hours. It was great and I would do it again in a heart beat.

where do you send your reservation? Is there an email address? Is this the same place you send your excursion requests? Also can you make palo reservation just for regular dinner and hi tea also?

you don't really "send it" anywhere. it's through the dcl website. go under "my disney cruise", and then go under "retrieve your reservation", put in your # & b-day, and from there, you can go under palo & do your reservations. and yes, you can do dinner, as well as brunch & high tea! and while you're there, you might as well book your excursions...just go under the excursion tab! good luck! :flower:

Palo reservations for the 7-night cruises can be made for three different occasions: dinner, brunch and high tea. You may make no more than one reservation for each type, although you can be put on a waiting list for additional reservations should you wish. You may reserve all three types when you first board or in advance through the DCL website. In order to use the DCL website to make you reservations, you must have paid for your cruise in full and be no more than 105 days before sailing for concierge class (stateroom categories 1, 2 or 3), 90 days prior for Castaway Club members (repeat cruisers) or 75 days prior for first-time cruisers. You may also make reservations on the website for shore excursions and spa services, as well as register children for the Clubs.

We have gone to all three Palo experiences and they are well worth the fee and extra gratuity. The brunch and dinner are both several cuts above the meal service in the dining rooms, in terms of both quality of the food, variety of selections and personal service. Enjoy!
