Chamilia beads

I keep seeing you all say that you got your Chamilia beads on sale. How did you find out about the sales?? I signed up for their website, but haven't seen any advertisements for sale items.

Also if you found a sale, were you able to buy as many beads as you wanted, or was there a limit?

As for sales, I haven't seen any online, but my local store does sales. They have an e-mail list.

THe bracelets run about $40-$55 to start - the beads start about $33.00 and go up from there - it's quite an expensive hobby.

You should check local jewelry stores or boutiques that carry them, especially around holidays. One jeweler just had a special for Valentines day, buy any 3 beads and get any silver one free.

I'll second PP a lot of the places I've been lately have been having buy 3 get 1 free sales. One had a buy 4 get a free bracelet sale.

Good question. I want to get more beads, but am trying to save a little money. I haven't gotten anything via the Chamilia website. Maybe I'll try the jeweler's website.

I know there's a jewler near me in PA that sells the Disney beads, so I don't think there are any Disney World exclusive ones. I like that Mickey head bead on the second bracelet. I hadn't seen that one yet!

That is the one I want I think that one is 135.00.

It's not $135 but it might be soon as it's retired. If you check the Chamilia site it's not listed there anymore. I found this one with a google search:

Very strange, but I've found some sites that list new and used chamilia charms and I've found some that sell the retired charms at a significant premium. I wonder if it's one of those type of sites.

I was looking at the official website. I also have the Chamilia No. 1 2011 book. It has the bead also. No prices though.

I'm pretty sure that $135 is the retail price. The beads with crystals can get salty. I found another one for $160.

The one that is a dangle Mickey, on the red bracelet is a retired bead.

The blue Mickey with the crystals is a brand new bead. It was only released a few weeks ago. Just in time for my birthday. It is $135 retail.

None of the beads are exclusive to Disney world. You can get them anywhere that Chamilia is sold.

I don't know of any sales that are direct through Chamilia. However, stores can and do offer specials. I'm not sure if they do this on their own or with support from Chamilia.

Fortunately, I am able to get my beads through my DSIL. She works for a jeweler who carries the line.

Thanks! I got a lot of them as gifts. It's great when everyone knows exactly what you want.


I would say the beads average about $30 each. I never pay full retail for the ones I have gotten. I wait for sales, or get them on e-bay.

I have not added up the cost of that first bracelet. I'm worried that I might be scared to wear it if I knew for sure.

Do they sell non-Disney charms at WDW? I assume they have the bracelets in various styles/sizes also? I like the bracelets but would only purchase 2 Disney-related charms and want to know if I need to buy the bracelet prior to going to WDW. I'm more likely to buy it while on vacation then at home!

BTW, I have a Pandora bracelet and the Chamilia beads fit on it, too.
