Chamila Charms at Duty Free

Has anyone noticed any Chamila charms for sale at the Duty Free shop, either in Montreal or Orlando? Just curious...hoping for a Disney charm for my bracelet.

I was just going to come on and ask a somewhat similar question. If anyone had seen some disney themed pandora/type charms in Orlando? Hope someone can answer our questions

Good question, my daugther wants me to pick up a Pandora charm while I am at Disney in 2 weeks.

I would thinks the store on Main Street that sells watches and jewelry would have some?

World of Disney in DTD sells the only Disney charms which are made by Chamilia. They are very similar to Pandora charms and are interchangeable when it comes to bracelets and neclaces. Here is the link to the Chamilia store in the Florida Mall

I have purchased charms at both places and believe it or not, Disney charms are slightly less expensive at Disney. The charm chateau does run specials however. I purchased 3 charms and got one free last time in April. I was also able to purchase a discontinued disney charm at the charm chateau, which was a bonus!

There are actually several stores on property that sell Chamilia charms, and not just at Downtown Disney. Main Street Emporium has a big selection, but they frequently run out of sizes for bracelets, and they usually try and talk you into getting a bigger size, which is what they did to me, and I haven't been able to wear it, so it collects dust in my jewelry box. It may have been a better fit had I put more beads on it, but I don't care for Chamilia at all, and much prefer Pandora, so my beads are on one of two Pandora bracelets. I so wish Pandora had the Disney contract!

Just a warning - not all charms are interchangeable. When I was looking at the Disney charms in March, a women purchased a charm, and it would not fit her bracelet, so they let her return it on the spot. She wanted to try it before they rang her up, but the salesperson said they would all fit, and I told her they may not, and so she was disappointed. I can't remember which charm it was though?

Another word of warning - the Murano glass Mickey head chipped immediately, as it's a raised design. Chamilia said I could return it, but the new one will just keep doing the same thing anyway. Just wanted to warn people of this design flaw.

Incidentally, the prices for Pandora charms are set by Pandora, but not sure about Chamilia? My charms that I purchased on Main Street were the exact same price as online, but perhaps they run promos like Pandora does?

My wife bought a Disney Cruise Ship Chamila charm when we were on the Dream. It's the coolest one she has in my opinion!
