Chalk ink pads?

Can you erase chalk from a chalk ink pad? I was wondering if it was more forgiving than regular ink pads?

What is a good brand to get? There are so many.

No you can not erase the ink. It's like a dye base. Any name brand should be good. I mostly use Color box for my chalk inkpads.

What is the difference between a chalk ink and a regular one. I use the Color box cat eye inks pads all the time. A chalk ink pad sounds kind of weird.

The ink has a softer, matte look. The lighter colors can be semi-transparent. I like the chalk inks and use them with solid block style stamps, where I can stamp with dye or pigment over it.
