Does anyone know if the living room chairs that convert to beds (like at BLT or AKV) will be added to some of the older resorts like Beach Club or WL?

I think that it would be a nice addition if they fit when open.

They are adding them to OKW now during the renovation in progress. I unberstand they have also been added at VB. we might see them at some of the other resorts as they go thru a rehab in the future providing there is enough room in the living room area.

Those other villas are smaller than OKW, so the chair might not fit. Unless they replaced all the furniture with stuff like they have at BLT and AKV.

With the exception of Jambo House, so far the sleeper chairs have been added only to the resorts with the larger living rooms: AKV Kidani, BLT, OKW. I don't know how large the living area is in the VB 1BRs and 2BRs so I'm not sure if they fit the profile or not. BWV was recently renovated and did not get sleeper chairs.

ETA: The Value 1BR/2BRs at Jambo House do not have sleeper chairs. Those rooms are smaller than the other DVC rooms in Jambo House and there is not enough room to open a sleeper chair.

VB 1BRs are second only to OKW in size (1005 sq ft to 880 sq ft). Third is GCV (865) followed by HH at 856. HH has been recently renovated but does not have the sleeper chair.

The 1BR villas at the other resorts are:

AKV - 807 at Kidani, but the Value 1BRs at Jambo do not have the sleepers (629 sq ft)
BLT - 803
AHV - 756 (Aulani)
VWL - 727
BCV - 719
SSR - 714
BWV - 712

Based on room photos, Aulani will not have a sleeper chair. Instead they have a bed that drops down from the "dresser" under the TV.

It's possible then that those resorts where the 1BR size is less than BLT may not have enough room for a sleep chair - unless they reduce the foot print of some of the other furnishings in those villas to accommodate the additional space needed.

It also doesn't look as comfortable as a sleeper chair since the bed ends up right next to the wall. It will probably work well for a small child though.

ETA: On Disney's Aulani website (http://resorts.disney.go.com/aulani-hawaii-resort/accommodations/dvc-suites-villas/) they state that the 1BRs have "1 queen-size sleeper sofa and 1 pull-down bunk size bed in the living room" but that the 2BRs have "1 queen-size sleeper sofa and 1 sleeper chair in the living room". Their living room photo is from a 2BR and there is no sleeper chair, just the pull-down bed.
