My husband and I have an ADR for the California Grill on our anniversary in May. When I booked they asked if it was a special event, and they marked it down as our anniversary. Do they do anything special for anniversarys here?

We celebrated our anni there in 2006 and had a great time. Our waiter was wonderful and attended to us like non other. We were on the dining plan so would have had to pay for something extra we ordered and wine. When the bill came it was taken care of.

The table was also sprinkled in pixie dust. It was one of the best meals we had on that trip other than V&A.
Of course they say not to expect anything special that way if nothing happens you wont be disappointed.

I never expected anything and got several things while dining on that trip. We felt so blessed. I'm sure you will too.

Have a great trip

We were at the CG for our 15th Anniversary in August. We were given a nice table by the window, our table was sprinkled with pixie dust, and our dessert said "happy anniversary"

Here's a picture that I didn't think to take until after we dug in... it was extremely delicious.

The service was excellent, too.

we ate at Narcoossee's for our 25th in September and it was such a special evening. Like you, when we originally made our ADR they noted that it was our anniversary. But I didn't expect anything. However, the staff there made sure that it would be a most memorable dinner - they sat us at a table right at the window, our names were printed on our menus and we were served champagne. There were several other touches and the wait staff was very inobtrusive. We weren't rushed so they could fill the table with other diners. It was a very, very special evening - the food is wonderful and there's a beautiful view of the castle.

Happy Anniversary! I'm positive Disney will work its magic and make it special.

p.s. Don't forget to wear your anniversary pins.

We just got back from our anniversary trip and ate there for dinner one of the evenings. They knew it was our anniversary; and when we got to the table, it was sprinkled with pixie dust. We were seated next to the window, per our request. Our server was decent, no complaints. While we were eating, a gentleman came to the table and took our picture and gave us a print (complimentary) with a certificate. When they brought out our dessert, it had the chocolate "Happy Anniversary" on it.

They made it very special. We ate at Tutto Italia another night, and they did nothing. I guess it just depends on where you go.

Nice replies! We ate at Rose and Crown in Epcot 2 years ago on our Anniversary and it was noted on our reservation. They brought us a special desert and the servers sang a "Happy Anniversary" song to us. We also got a certificate. It was great.
However, if a special recognition is important to you, plan it yourself and pay for it.
There is a whole stickey thread here on special cakes you can order. It is great. There is also lots of info on things you can order from the Disney florist.
Have a Great Trip

We celebrated our 36th at the Cali Grill in October 06 and had a wonderful meal with great service.

Before our dessert arrived they brought out what you see below:
