CG and Hallowishes timing

I see that Hallowishes is historically at 9:30. Would an 8:50 ADR be a good time if only wanting one course and to watch the show?

It depends on whether you're asking about trying to get a table with a view or not. If you get an 8:50 pm ADR, I think you'll be in the middle of your one course when the show starts (i.e., meaning the food is on the table and you're in the process of eating when you have to head out to the observation deck). Personally, I would move your ADR up to at least one hour before the start of the show (75 minutes is better). That gives you time to check-in, be seated, order, and then eat your meal before the show starts. I'd rather have to wait a bit after finishing my meal instead of heading outside halfway through the course. If you're asking about requesting a window table with a view of HalloWishes, by 8:50 pm, all of those tables are likely to be taken. You'd need to make an ADR for at least 2 hours before the show if you wanted a chance at a window table.

1) I seriously doubt you would get a table with only 40-minutes prior to fireworks.
2) With such a short time period, people usually stay at the table awaiting the show.

I uually shoot for 90 minutes before any fireworks display. One thing to think about with the party fireworks is that for many, the only time they see these special shows is from a restaurant, so once they are seated, they do not budge.

If you are looking for the display, and the restaurant is secondary, try Narcoossees. The view is not as spectaculare as CG, but is really nice, and the food is wonderful. You may have an easire time getting an ADR that works for both the meal and the show.

I wasn't expecting a table with a view. I know those go early and people camp out. I thought the timing might work for watching from the observation deck. Honestly, I wouldn't mind sitting at the bar or in the lounge if that matters, but I know people tend to camp out there too...Sounds like the timing is still iffy?

I was thinking we'd do sushi and maybe a flatbread, so no big worries about food getting cold. You still hear the sound and get a decent view from the deck, right?

Whenever I've watched the MK fireworks from the observation deck, they did pipe in the music. The view is pretty good.

Thanks for the pic; it looks really nice.

If we don't do a MNSSHP, I at least want to watch Hallowishes from somewhere with the music and a decent view. Thanks all for the advice; now I'll just need to actually make a decision next week at our planning session; there are too many choices!:yo-yo:
