My dress is silk taffeta and they said no water should touch it so I am afraid of bubbles, what else can/did you do for your exit?

We used white rose petals, because I heard that red rose petals can possibly stain your dress. I also avoided bubbles for the exact same reason you mentioned....I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that used bubbles and the bubbles RUINED my bridesmaid dress (they also stained the bride's gown). My bridesmaid dress was hunter green and after the bubbles attacked it, I had huge discoloration marks all over it (to this day).

if you're having a night wedding :)

If you are having a Disney wedding they no longer allow sparklers due to fire codes (or something like that) which is a huge bummer!

can i ask what type of fabric was on the bridesmaids dresses that got stained. I am curious if it was silk?

you could get confetti maybe or confetti wands - i have seen where people just wave them. also freeze dried flower petals which do not stain dresses either.
