Does anyone know if you are permitted to take cereal such as muesli into Florida ?

I have taken weetabix for DS before and will be doing in a few weeks :)

Me too (weetabix), taken small boxes of cereal too-especially when kids were little. Should be OK-they prefer packets to be unopen though (not that you'd take an open packet:rotfl2: it'd get everywhere!)

Hello! American popping in here. Hope it's okay. :)

Just in case our silly airports deem cereal a threat and you can't bring it in, or if you want to buy some while you're here, the US Weetabix website lists several locations based on WDW's zip code.

Put 32830 into http://www.weetabixusa.com/wheretobuy.php

Most well-stocked stores should have some type of muesli, usually in the healthy/natural section. I know because it's a favorite breakfast of mine. :)

Edit to add: I've heard the Publix near WDW is good about stocking items on request. You could try calling the store a few weeks in advance to make sure they have it.

Thanks a lot for the info, it's really helpful! The only thing I will be bringing is cereal, i have placed an order for other supplies from garden grocer :)

To be honest I don't like taking any food stuff in with me as I can never remember what is allowed and what isn't, and I don't want to be fined if Customs decide to open my case. You should look at their website for info and check.

I know you are not allowed dried fruit/fruit and nuts because one year I had a bag of mixed nuts and fruit and was told to bin it as it wasn't allowed in, so I don't know if your muesli has dried fruit in it.
