Cereal box WDW pins?

Can anyone help with this one? DH just bought 2 boxes of Kelloggs cereal and on the side panel it mentions a free mail in or claim at WDW 100 yrs pin. Has anyone claimed one of these pins. We are going to WDW in December is it worth me bringing these cereal box coupons. I figure a souviners a souvineer right? And every little bit helps.

Hi. You need three of those box tops.
I know some mailed their's in several weeks ago and have not received them yet. (Or at least until recent.)
I carted my three box tops to WDW last month. I tried to redeem them at DTD Pin Traders and was told I had to do that at the resort.
The resort didn't know what I was talking about. We both re-read and DTD Pin Traders was the place to redeem them.
Scary part was, it was the CM training the other CM's that night who told me this at DTD.
Since everyone is still waiting for their mailed pins, I decided to take my box tops back down to DTD in January. (As the mail fulfillment seems very slow from what I am reading from other's experiences.) This time I will know better at DTD if they tell me to go redeem it at the resort.

I turned mine at DTD pin store, they are only redeamed by mail or at the main checkout counter at the pin store. If the cashier their doesn't know about it ask for the manager. This is what I had to do. He knew exactly what it was, they keep them in a drawer at the cash register. They come in a square cardboard envelope. The pin is a star with mouse ears. Pin Traders knows about the pins. I have gotten mine. Just take the three forms from three boxes to them and they will give you the pin that is in a white cardboard envelope. Not a problem. Ask a manager if the employee does not know this. Marla

I'll try my luck in December and bring in my 3 box tops. Where do I find these pin trader people. Are they just walking around WDW. (excuse me, all this is new to me)

Mine were on Raisin Bran boxes that had an ad regarding Walt's 100 Year Anniversary. It doesn't say anything about a pin on the front of the box. The coupon is on the side. The box gives one a chance to win a trip to DW, which of course, I have not won. But the pins are neat, especially if you are going to DW and can get them easily rather than waiting for the mail. We went to DTD pin traders on 10/29- we got two pins. Had some extra coupons, from rice krispie boxes, but by 11/1 they were out of pins. Said their shipment was small. Sounds like they rec'd more. Might be worth checking early in your trip so that you can return if they are out. Might be a temporary thing.
The store is really fun, if you are interested in pins.

I finally recieved my pin in yesterdays mail. I sent in for it quit awhile ago. I was actually starting to wonder where it was at. It is a really cool pin. Hope others who sent away for there start recieving them.

I ordered two pins (SIX box forms!) about three months ago...and they've just arrived...don't know why there was such a delay...the pin is great...however!

Here's what the pin looks like:

The certificates have been found on various specially marked Kellogg's cereal boxes (Raisin Bran, Rice Krispies, et'c). Look on the side panel for your certificate (you need 3 certificates for 1 pin...)

Hope it was a big shipment - we leave next week and my daughters have been collecting them since September. We are big Mini Wheat eaters - we have fifteen box tops! I'm hoping we will be able to pick up five pins - one each!

My dad ate 12 boxes of cereal so each of his grandchildren could get a pin when we were down there.

My mom picked them up at DTD and then the kids promptly traded them!

Going in January but there are no boxes of cereal with this offer on them here in Canada...Must be a USA only thing.
