For any central Ohio doggie owners, be sure to check out the new doggie park at Alum Creek Park at the Marina. There is close to four acres dedicated to the park. The park has two run and socialize fields to scamper in. One is for small dogs and the other for large ones. Then there is a fenced in area for doggie swimming. We brought our yellow lab today and he had a great time. We first went to the run and socialize area and he ran around and played with other doggies. There are waste bags provided and a drinking fountain in the back of the large dog area. The top of the fountain is for humans and the bottom is for doggies. After running around, we took our lab swimming. Once our lab was in the water, other doggies came to swim with him. He had the best day of his life. If you go, be sure to wear old clothes as you will get splashed by the swimming doggies.
