central MA state parks - whats your favorite?

This past wknd while at Wallum Lake in Douglas I bought a yearly pass. Whats your favorite central MA state park?

I remember driving through a nice one in the Spencer/Sturbridge area, off Rte 20, I think. It didn't have any attractions, but it was very scenic. Now I wish I could remember the name. There used to be a big amusement park in northern Worcester County (once again, I don't remember the name of that one), is that still there? Heck, I'm old enough to remember when White City was an amusement park. But I don't think that was a State Park.

I almost forgot about my favorite-Moore State Park. Also, Mount Wachusett-I didn't know that was a state park until I checked. The one in Spencer was Wells State Park.

Walker Pond is the lake a Wells State Park. That is where I live!!
Almost every night we ride our bikes through the park. We spend every weekend on our boat/neighborhood beach on Walker Pond. I can't believe that people on the DIS actually know Wells State Park!!

White City was an amusement park back in the mid-50s (I don't know how long before that). Moore State Park is off route 31 in Paxton, on the road between Paxton and Spencer. There used to be tons of Rhododendron bushes so it was beautiful in the spring. And there's a waterfall and a little pond, so it's pretty there all year round.
