Census employee test question

I took the test a few weeks ago, and got 2 wrong out of 28. I just had a call from someone in the census office basically badgering me to take and retake the test until I get a perfect score "otherwise you won't get a job". She said some people are even taking it daily until they do so! If this is true, I'll do so, but I just really have to wonder...

If you want the job, I'd do what the office worker told you. I just looked up and took a practice test on line (well, I took half of it and then quit). It didn't seem very difficult, so I would guess a lot of people will get 100% (I bet yours were careless mistakes - you'd probably get a 100 if you take it again).

It really was NOT hard, although there's lots of math, which I'm poky at doing longhand. I know one of the ones I got wrong because it was worded oddly, and I overthought it, and am not sure about the other one.

Perhaps you seem like a great candidate and they want you, but with how many people are looking for jobs right now they can only take perfect scores. If you really want this job, I would try the test again.

I know that I missed 2 questions the last time around and was hired to work for the Census (so was DH). We are both eligible for rehire this time around. Personally, I really wouldn't bother to retake the test.
