My sister likes to buy the framed cels from various Disney movies when we visit WDW. This is our first 7 night cruise (took a 4 night cruise but had already bought a cel a few days before at WDW). Does anyone know if they sell cels on the ship? I thought maybe at the silent auction or in the gift shops?

Thanks!

We were on the July 23 West Cruise cruise. Yes, they have cels available to purchase at the art auction (there was no silent auction). From what I remember, they had a Cinderella dancing with the prince, Goofy playing tennis, Mad Hatter with Alice and Mickey as the prince from Prince and the Pauper. But the Mickey is no longer available because we bought it. :rolleyes1
I do recall seeing some cels hanging on a wall behind the cash registers at Treasure Ketch. I do not know if they were decorations or available for sale. :confused3

Actual production cels? Or sericels or other types of reproductions?

For the former, I believe the answer is no. They are worth so much (at least 3K and up from there) and I can't imagine that the sea air would be good for them. Very few are even on display anymore at the stores that carry them at WDW, you need to make an appointment to see the real thing now.

For the latter, I think there might be a few. The sericels run around $350 and up. I am less familiar with other types of repos so I am not sure about those on the ship.

Anyone else with more info?
