go to any wallgreens or kmart..or ekards drug stor and get one $19.95 we have been useing ours for 3 year and my daughters use it when they go.we based ours in 14209 zip(buffalo)so when we go shopping there we take it with us and its cheaper to call ont.just get one when you cross at kmart.look on line at walgreens or kmart to look at them

ARGH! I've been emailing Rogers, and they have been corresponding with me that the PLAN i was told would do it is "international" and they don't consider U.S. international, and they have NO plans for texting in the U.S. Very frustrating! I wish people would get their stories straight!

I checked my bill from last year when I went with NO US plan... I sent 4 text messages from the U.S. and they were 40c each.

Not so bad if you were sending ten or less.

VERY bad if you were a hard core texter.

I can't find my bill from this month right now.. But if I do -- I'll report back here.

Since my Dad and I both have Bell cell phones we always purchase the Connect Florida plan which includes the following.

100 Florida travelling minutes
Includes both incoming and outgoing calls
$20 per month

This is plan we used last month and it worked like a charm. Great reception, no roaming charges, no problemo!

i wondered about that? did they actually work that far without interferance? We have some that are 5 mile but even within 1mile you lose reception. i wondered about buying a larger range and how efficeint they are.

They worked flawlessly over 10 miles apart we talked to people back at OKW while we were at MK without an issue at all. Plus you don't have to buy minutes for them and they can be used for more than just Disney trips or trips to the US the family uses them when they go camping in the summer or when the kids are off at their friends in teh neighbourhood.
