Cell Phones

Every where I look now, everyone has a cell phone. Well Everyone except me! I've seen even as young as 7 year olds getting cell phones. How old do you think you should be to get a cell phone? I'm not allowed to get one till I'm 16 and driving. That's in a little more than a year.

i have one now and im 13...my parents werent gonna let me have one till i was 16 and driving but they decided sense i was starting to hang out with my friends by myself that i should have one and yeahh so they gave it to me for a christmas gift.

you were allowed to go to the mall at 9 yrs old?? I wasn't allowed to go by myself w/ friends till i was 12/13ish. Idk, Personally I think when you start high school is a good age, because there are a lot of clubs and meetings and things that come up unexpectedly.

I got mine halfway through my Freshman year of high school, so I was 14. I got it on the same night I went out on my first real date ever . Obviously it was one of the best younger-life nights, hahaha. I now can't live without my cell phone. I take it everywhere I go, and even when I go on dates now, I still check in with my mom, either in front of the date if I feel comfortable, or in the bathroom if I don't . And they wonder why I take so long...

lmao, you do that too? I call my mom all the time.

If you live in Ennis Texas and go to the Ennis Junior High School, then right before you go into the 7th grade is good, like when I go mine. Our school isn't very good, stuff that happens there wise. And I've seen a 3 year old with a phone so...I'd say when you go into Junior High or High School.

I have had 3 different ones the one I am now will do good until college and then when I get my own money I think I will get a different plan and not pay as you go. But I think that when you start doing things is a good age to get one. I was like the first of my friends to get one when I was 14.

i got my cell phone when i was 11. thats when i started going out with ppl. my parents would always get mad at me for not letting them know the exact time id b home, but i didn't have a cell phone to tell them so... they got me one! im surprised you don't have one yet! in HS its necessary because of all the stuff you do, going out with friends, driving, and if you play sports or go to events you have a lot of reasons to need to contact someone or be contacted. i think my parents along with my self would die w/ out one! lol btw im on my second one and ive owned a cell phone for 3 years now and im gonna be 15 soon

I got mine as a B-Day present in 7th grade. It's nice to have one to let my parents know where I am and stuff.



And because they don't want me on the downnstairs phone lol

I got mine when I was 12 and in 7th grade, before my class went on a long trip to Boston. I think 12 is a good age to have one because as you get older you start to do more things on your own and its good to have a phone to be safe.

I got my CP at the age of 13. It was a surprise gift! All i did was bug them for a while and then stopped. Somehow it worked. CP's are a good thing to have around

ok like i used avatars, they have them on iconator and when you see one you like just right click on it, click on properties. Then Copy the URL, and go into your signature thing on your User CP, and do

I got my cell phone when I was 11. My mom is getting a new family plan in August and we might get pink razor phones. =]
