Cell phones on rides?

Do you bring you phones to WDW and if yes how do you go about bring them on rides especially on water rides like splash mountain?

I always bring mine *&* just keep it in my purse on all the rides

Oooh, sore subject here! Just if you must bring your cell phone on rides, please don't do what the man behind us at JII did. He conducted business on his cell phone all throughout the ride. I don't know why he even went on the ride, since he was alone.

I keep mine on quiet and vibrate (so it does not disturb others) in my zip pocket. I have been on lots of water rides and have never had any problems. I guess if you are worried you could put it in a zip lock bag.

I just keep mine in my backpack - in a ziploc since my luck runs such that I would be the ONE person on a ride to have it swamped with water just when it develops a leak.

I always put my camera and my cell phone in a ziplock bag to protect it, and carry it everywhere with me.
