Cell Phone Service - which works best in WDW?

Last time we were in WDW we had Verizon and had problems. Does anyone know if this is still the case? We are going with friends and one has Verizon, one has Sprint and we have AT&T.

When are you going?

In June 2001, I used Verizon without a problem.

In 2 weeks I'll be in WDW using AT&T (new today) and, I could let you know after that.

i didn't have any problems with AT&T in WDW. i didn't lose coverage (that i know of) while i was in the area at all.

I have sprint and it worked great!

We have Sprint PCS and it worked OK.

No problems with Nextel and we can also use Direct Connect (two way radio feature).

Whichever you use...please remember to turn it off when you go into an attraction. There is nothing worse than one of those things going off in the middle of show! It happened to us in the Hall of Presidents and I didn't think the guy was going to get out alive.

I didn't have problems with Verizon when I was there but because Florida isn't my home base my phone roamed continuously and the batter would die a lot quicker.

My Cingular worked OK for calls, but I could never figure out how to access my voice mail when out of my area.

We have the Verizon nationwide plan and had no problem in October 2002.

Here is my history so far:
AT&T - Awful at beach club
Sprint - Really good in Epcot

Verizon - Will know in 2/03

AT&T was the worst I've had so far.
