Cell phone question from a Mom

My DD will be old enough to seperate from us at the parks this year, but I want to make sure she has her cell phone with her. My question is how do you girls carry your cell phones? She wants to use a small back pack purse, but I don't know if this is safe. If she carries a regular purse I'd worry that she'd leave it some where. She tells me fanny packs are awful. I know boys sometimes use the belt clips, what do girls do? Thanks for your help!!

I usally have a drawstring backpack, i keep my phone in there. Its her prefrence what she will feel having all comfortable all day. I defently wont just keep it in my pocket just in case it falls out( i really over protected with my stuff), but i have to carry something because i aslo have my video camara with me. She may perfer the one strap bag like this one from LLBean (there a better one in here but i can't find it, but its an idea what im talking about) . It basically want she want to do.

Because we have to carry our IDs in college ALL THE TIME, I bought a small wrislet from the Grand Floridian to bring back to school with me. It holds my license, ID, lipgloss and cell phone. It is worn like a bracelet and is small enough to just tote around. They cost around $12ish but you could buy the same thing at Wal*Mart for less if you looked.

I carried a 1 strap backpack from old navy with me...and then i bought this really cute bag from the AKL...they both had cell phone pockets that were easily accessible.

i carry around my purse, i do that so much that i know i wouldnt loose it. i am very pertective of my purse. but my friend has a belt clip for her cellphone and that works as well, im actually thinking of getting one for my phone.

If I take my purse with me I dont put my cell phone in it because I can't get to it in time to answer it so my phone came with a clip and my cell snaps in there and I just clip it on my belt.

I have a belt clip, but i tend to ram my cellphone into anything, especially doorways when I wear my cell w/ the belt clip, so my face of my cellphone is majorly scratched. But i put stickers over it.

I ALWAYS carry around my purse. But, you could get a cell phone clip. She could put her phone, room key (if she carries one), and some money in it if you get one thats the right size.

I normally carry around a purse with my cell phone in it, but when I got to Disney World I seem to need a bigger bag so I have a mini jansport backpack that I decorated with disney pins. It doesn't have a cell phone pocket, but it's worked great for me for the past couple of years. It holds my cell phone, wallet, camera, guidemaps, etc. If you're interested, I've seen them at both Kohl's, J.C. Penny's, Sears, and Hecht's.

I wouldn't suggest a cell phone clip unless she needs to get to her cell phone really fast. I only use one at work. If you're worried about her not picking up her phone, tell her a specific time to call you. That's what my parents do when they want to meet up with me and my brother.

last time I went to Disney World (Nov. '03) , I didnt have a clip for my cell phone and I didnt feel like carrying a purse around the park. Plus it didn't really matter because I am with my parents the whole time. but this time my mom was thinking she would let me and my sister walk alone as long as we have our cell phones so im going to clip it to my shorts this time.

In the past I've always carried around the dreaded fanny pack. But my sister says I'm an embarrassment to teenage girls everywhere so I'll probably bring a purse or one of those small athletic looking back packs this year (the drawstring kind).
I'll probably use my belt clip for the phone though. In the crowds of WDW it's the best way to hear it.

She could Get a wrist purse. search online. i bring it to wdw all the time. never lost it once. not even misplaced it! Which is good 4 me! Good Luck!

I usually bring my messanger bag with me which has a special place just for my cell phone. Or if I bring a backpack I bring a cell phone clip.
