Has anyone seen or heard about cell phone charging stations? OR do you just carry a charger and do you have an issue finding an outlet ??

with all the APPs available to use inside the resorts, I'm sure we all suffer from LOW BATTERY SYNDROME

There are stations within Disney World near the Tangled Restrooms, and others have popped up too. I just carry my cord and plug to charge my iPhone when needed. I look at it as a great time to relax the feet.....:woohoo: from the crazy pace that my wife keeps.

There are a number of vendors that sell a 5000mAh external battery chargers. For me these are mandatory for a Disney day at the park. They are small enough that I can keep both the phone and the charger in my pocket while they recharge. I can always get at least one charge out of it. Sometimes close to two. Then I recharge both the phone and the charger in the evening or at nap time.

Yes i have 2 of those, one is the same size as the phone, another the size of a 5-pack of small cigars.. lol I just don't thing my 1980's fanny pack came back in to style to carry it all ! LOL

My DW was actually able to get a 50% charge while waiting in line for soarin.

They had outlets spaced throughout the waiting line. One of the few times we were glad the line was long and slow

I'm sensitive to partially charging my electronic devices. I prefer to get close to zero and charge back to 100. The Saorin' line experience wouldn't work for me. I am definitely glad to see Disney providing outlet access, but unless in a restaurant where I know I'll be sitting for long enough, I'll just rely on my sure things.

I would definitely recommend getting an external battery charger. There are lots of different models available on Amazon. I carry mine in my bag with a charging cord and rotate everyone's phones when they need a charge. It charges slower than an outlet, but I was able to keep all 4 of our phones working each day of our trip. I've even decided to get each of my teen boys one for Christmas to carry to school in their backpacks. Both have had days where they forgot to charge their phones overnight or they weren't plugged in all the way. I need to be able to communicate with them regarding pick up times, etc. so I need them to have their phones charged all the time.

I purchased an external portable charger.

...Then last month, I had to upgrade my phone, so I now have a brand new, unusable portable charger. :(

I don't have enough time to order one online now, so I need to find one in a store.

You definitely want to get one with a USB out rather than a specific adapter. The first external chargers I bought for my iPhone 3G are useless with my 5S, but I picked up one with USB out while I had the 4S, so I'm covered.

I picked up a battery backup USB charger with a solar panel. Love this thing....just keep it on my backpack and I always have a full battery.

$25 Opteka on Amazon
