Is staying at CSR a terrible idea for someone with celiac? I'm planning a trip in December. I fell in love with CSR and it's looks totally perfect for us but... then I read that disney doesn't manage the food there. Uh oh. The reviews I've seen on GF are mixed. Being able to eat safely is a big part of the appeal of WdW for us. My wife has celiac disease and is a vegetarian. She also hates to be a nuisance and loves that she can get great treatment at WDW and have delicious food. Last time we stayed at AKL and it was amazing but we can't afford that on this trip. We're most likely to eat lunch our first day and breakfast a couple of days at the resort. Would love any advice on navigating CSR or ditching it for another resort.

We are here now and have found the chefs at Las Ventanas and the main food court to be as acomodating as everywhere else in Disney World! We haven't been to the Maya Grill yet, so I can't report on that.

Thanks for the update, that's great to hear!
