Celiac at DLR

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone had any information on gluten free dining at DLR. My family went to WDW last june shortly after my brother was diagnosed and it was extremely easy to dine with food allergies but this will be his first time at DLR since the diagnosis and I would appreciate any info or tips anyone has.

I find the service for DLR not up to the standards for WDW. I asked numerous times for a list of soy free foods and never got one. They will not publish or give out a gluten free list but you can get one at guest services. Table service is safe. Items sold from carts and some counter service items are sometimes premade which means you cannot get the hot dog without a bun or yougurt without granola.

Turkey legs, dole whips, Mickey Bars, popcorn, caramel corn, honey corn, and dole whips and spears are gluten free. TASTE PILOTS GRILL will serve you the yummiest gluten free cheddar burger with gluten and soy free criss cross fries that are cooked in a dedicated server. It does take extra time for this.

Turkey legs, corn on the cob at the turkey cart, popcorn, caramel corn, honey corn, Dole pineapple spears and dole whips and Dole Whip floats, Mickey Bars, Catch a Flav ice cream, Lays plain chips, all ice cream that Dreyer/Edy sells that is not with gluten (no cookie dough flovour), soft serve ice cream, Dreyer's Strawberry Whole Fruit Fruit Bar,

Village Haus
Fruit plate, Bacon cheeseburger (no bun so bring your own), burger, french fries

Toon-up Treats in Toon Town
chef Salad (check ingredients on dressing, kids hotdog (no bun and with applesauce)

Clarabelle's
Kid's POWER Pack - With string cheese, Nonfat yogurt, sliced apples and whole-grain "fish" crackers (trash those or give them away). Includes choice of Low-fat milk, orange juice or small bottled water. $5.99

They sell fruit, yogurt, and some healthy choices but nothing gluten free that is a baked item.

Scrambled eggs with bacon and potatos (no muffin), fruit plate on request, fruit and yogurt parfait (no granola), grilled chicken salad with rspberry dressing, bruger on gluten free bun, cheeseburger on gluten free bun, grilled chicken on gluten fere bun, grilled vegetarian sandwich on gluten free bun

Tostada salad without the shel and plain chicken or veggie, fresh fruit plate

Lunch is pan seared boneless chicken breast, three cheese vegggie sandwich with lettuce instead of bread (bring yoru own hrmph), turkey sandwich on lettuce instead of bread, oscar's choice chef salad with not croutonos and italian or raaspberry dressing, steak melt with lettuce instead of bread, child's hot dog on tapioca bun if available

Oom Mow Mow is closed and had gluten free pizza

Award weiners has hot dogs on gluten free buns

Cocina Cucamonga is reopening and check back later.
All they had was the kids taco

Fairfax Market
Healthy stuff like carrots, fruit, juices and trail mix

Baker's Field Bakery
chicken Caesar salad with not croutons and check the dressing package

Golden Vine Winery - Tattoria
Chicken Bruschetta sald with no bread, pizzetta salad with no foccacia, side mixed salad with no croutons, bluten free pasta cooked to order with olive oil or botter or marinars sauce, caprese sandwich with no pretzel bread and substitute pasta salad for the green salad, tuscan salad without the croutons.

TASTE PILOT GRILL
burgers with cheddar cheese on gluten free bun (note that some bleu cheese has gluten so eat that at your risk and chili may have gluten), salad made with grilled chicken breast and not cucumber sticks and no croutons (check dressing ingredients, FRENCH FRIES GLORIOUS CRISS CROSS FRENCH FRIES, kids sliders no bunwith carrots, frilled chicken with no bun fresh pan pleas

That will do it while I rest and I typed that off of what they gave me and my own experience. I will add later and maybe spell check.

Arghh, you're awesome!!
I've been thinking about asking this question, I'm not gluten intolerant, but I have a feeling that being diagnosed with it is just around the corner - my dad has it, and I've just found out I'm anaemic, so tests are on the way...
I'm going to print out this info!

I am tired and going to sleep. I need to put it in bold and spell check but it is enough to help someone start planning their trip for now. The list has the hotels listed also. You can get a copy7 on in parks. I begged for one and they said no. I will try to add to the list and see what I can do to make the list intact.

DLR is in low season so some places are closed and others being refurbished. The list I got was 3 months old and is now in need of an update.\

I have celiac and no soy, egg, dairy or chocolate but it is 98% soy free and 95 to 100% free of eggs but not sure.

After phone calls to DLR and too many emails I got frustrated. I love to help and glad this will get your started. I am posting this as a starter list so you will know what to expect. Thing can and do change. I have the link to the company that makes Dole Whips and they have casein but no dairy, no chocolate, no eggs, no wheat, no gluten, and other bad stuff but do have a touch of soy but I am not reacting so it must be small.
