Funny we thought we would see tons of celebrities in DL.But none really. We did hear that Michael Jackson was in DL and the rides kept closing for a VIP however I never saw him so I am not sure.

We saw Kirsten Storms and Alexis Thorpe at WDW on Dec. 30. They are Belle and Cassie on Days of Our Lives. DD recognized Kirsten from her Xenon movies on Disney channel. I also had my picture taken with Michael Eisner on Main St. after Wishes on Jan. 1.

That would have been too cool. My family loves the Zenon movies. I would have loved to introduce "Belle" to me 10 yo DD who was born the same day
We were at Epcot on Jan. 1. Too bad we didn't go to MK that day.

When we were visiting my ds at college in the Chicago area, we saw Nicolas Cage shooting the upcoming movie "Weatherman." It was being shot at a mall in Skokie and he shook my dd's hand and signed an autograph for her. He was very sweet. My dd also said one of the boys from "Cheaper By the Dozen" was filming.

On a flight to Chicago, some of the band members from the Eagles were in first class. The flight attendant got an autograph for my dd.

I talked to Anthony Edwards in my local supermarket. He lives in our town. I was buying flowers and he was behind me in line. He asked if they were for him. I should have given them to him!

We met President Carter on our New Years Wonder cruise a few years ago.

We were all in Palo and the bathrooms were closed. We thought it was because of him being there for security purposes (ya never know!)

Anyway, my wife was returning from the bathroom as he was heading towards it.

He looked at her, smiled and asked, "Are the bathrooms working yet?"

She replied, "No sir, they are not," in her most authoritative voice.

He smiled and continued on his way.

She was floating as if she just made the president aware of an important national security issue.

On our last curise, in May of this year, they had a *real* Imagineer giving presentations on the Magic. I was lucky enough to get my picture taken with her! She may not be on television or in the movies but all Imagineers are celebrities in my book!
