Celebrity Big Brother

Tonights show was absolutely BRILLIANT !! The celebs had a task, there were 11 podiums, and the celebs had to put themselves in order of who was the most famous with the most famous being at number 1, and they had 2 minutes to do it. While the bigger celebs argued who should be at the top end, they didn't notice Maggot and Preston at the other end and Chantelle was in 9th position. Once the task was complete Chantelle was called to the Diary Room and told that because the HM's hadn't realised that she was the least famous, that she was now a celeb and would be allowed to stay, and the other HM's were watching it on the TV screen. So there is now a big party for Chantelle and she also has a chance of winning.

Classic Mandy!!! Wish I'd seen it. Who ended up on podium number 1 then - was it Michael Barrymore, by any chance?

I think it was, though Jodie kept saying that the two Americans were more famous. It was hilarious, those celebs are so shallow :)

Can't believe I missed it, posting on DIS!!!!

How funny, so glad Chantelle gets to stay!

What did they all say when she came out of the diary room?

They are all 'happy' for her but seem to be spending along time saying why they did/didnt believe her.

As Mandy said they were far too busy arguing at the top end of the podiums to realise what was going on at the far end so after Preston & Maggot had bagged themselves 10 & 11 Chantelle just nipped into 9 and stayed quiet.

I think a couple of them feel like fools for been caught out! But them if Faria can claim celeb status why cant a girl from an unknown pop band who had a top 50 hit!

:flower:

You do realise she isn't from a girl band and hasn't had a top 50 hit though ;)

I thought the process of picking the most famous was a bit farsical really. They couldn't do it by height, weight, shoe size etc but running out of time and standing on a random number seemed to be acceptable

It was a good show though, and I thought the way all the celebs went straight up to her and gave her a hug was brilliant :) She was probably feeling pretty nervous leaving that diary room!

Chantelle to win!! you go girl, I thought it was funny when she thought they totally believed her when so many of them had doubts. Now we'll be getting down to the nitty gritty and to see who is attracted to whom. I wonder if Dennis will still be interested in her now she's just a nobody.

I thought it was funny when Dennis and Tracie were in the gym. Tracie was trying to talk seriously with him about being unpopular at high school and then he just said "I'm done here" and walked out! He is so not interested in her.

Re who is the most famous, if it is nationally it would have to be Michael Barrymore but internationally I would say Dennis Rodman would be the most famous.

I agree Joanne, but George Galloway is quite "infamous" internationally, too! ;)

I managed to catch last nights show this morning (kids were nearly late for school, mind!), and it was funny when they were watching on the screen, and all saying they knew Chantelle was a fake. Then when she started saying that if they were wtching they would understand why she did it, they all started saying, ahh, bless her....of course they all understand why she did it. Most of them are doing it too!

I did wonder if they might kick Maggot out since he was officially the least famous....and LOL when Preston said he let her stay on podium 9 because he was modest and a gentleman. If he really was he would have kept it quiet!

:rotfl: I thought that was sooooooo funny too. I just watched tonights show. I felt sorry for Jodie the first couple of days, but after watching her antics tonight, I feel that she deserves everything she gets. Pete is growing on me!!

I empathise completely with Jodie Marsh. She gets upset when she's portrayed in the papers as being nothing more than a cheap old slapper. Having watched last nights show surely everyone can see there's so much more to her than that. I'm joking of course, she sickens me. George Galloway hit the nail on the head when he commented in the diary room about how he would feel if his daughter behaved like that.

Tia, I agree about Pete, he's growing on me too. Some of his one liners and put downs are superb.

I only saw a few minutes but I did feel a bit sorry for Jodie as it seemed they were picking on her a bit.

I've been quite disappointed with Jodie :( In most other things she has come across as a strong and confident young woman. I don't know her personal circumstances, or if BB is doing another clever editing job, but she is coming across as very insecure, needy and childish.

I do think she could do herself a lot of favours though if she just refrained from picking arguments, especially with George and Pete who are clearly far more experienced debaters then she is ;)

Jodie - George - Pete .... All Up For EVICTION

I guess the rest of the housemates are fed up with the arguing then and want a break :teeth:

Oh my God!! you had me worried then, :rotfl:

Heard on the news a moment ago that Pete may be prosecuted - if thats really an endangered species fur he's wearing he's liable for 5 years, in a way I'm glad but I do feel he supported his own argument admirably where as Jodie couldn't join a sensible debate to save her life she just rabbits on about how 'victimised' she is then proceeds to allow herself to look really slapperish and shallow by pouncing on any man going. I wish Chantelle would stay away from her - she's not doing herself any favours by hanging around with the biggest tart in Britain

I agree Carol, Jodie Marsh is acting in her usual slapperish way, and Chantelle needs to stay clear. :hyper2:

Sue :cutie:

I find it hard to believe that Pete's coat is actually real fur and that he is not just saying that to get a rise out of the other housemates ;)

He has already said that his restructive surgery on his lips has cost him everything he owns including his house and back catalogue which is why he is on CBB. I can't beleive if he actually had some money left over he'd buy a hugely expensive fur coat made from endangered animals :confused3
