Celebrities in Nassau

When we were just in Nassau the other day the DH and I noticed all the lavish houses that were there while on our way over to Blue Lagoon Island. There were some BIG houses and a lot of them had yachts tied up in front of the house. The DH and I were thinking that maybe there were some famous people who lived there. Anyone know?

Yes - but I can't tell you who (it was almost 6 years ago and my memory is not that good). We took the excursion over to the Atlantis hotel and the boat driver identified the owners of several of the houses there.

I heard rumours that Oprah and Tiger Woods both have houses in Nassau.

Barry Bonds (sp?) also owns a house in Nassau.

I heard one belonged to one of the James Bond actors, cant remember which one. Maybe Roger Moore or Sean Conery, I know it wasn't Pierce Bronson. Also another one was owned by the actor from Harry Potter the late Richard ? (I cannot think of his last name - the one that played Dumbledore).
