celebrations during trip

I know when you're booking a regular room through Disney you can note that you're celebrating a birthday, 1st trip, etc. Does it work the same way through DVC? We're renting points for our trip in Nov, and will be going the day after my DD's 1st birthday and it will be my dad's first trip ever scared1: can you believe it?? It took so much convincing to get him to go ). I'd really love for at least my dad to have a 1st visit pin, I think it will add to the Disney magic. .

When we got back to our SSR room last Saturday (DD#2's actual BDay) there was a card with a signed Mickey photo waiting for her. There was a photopass card in it but we had already ordered one before we left home. And they gave her a pin when we checked in on the 6th, but the lady at DHS that day made her another one.

As a renter, you'll need to have the DVC member call Member Services and add the note to the reservation. Or you can get 1st Visit and Birthday pins at guest relations inside any park.
