We're moving there in June. We are currently building and that's when it should be complete.

I would say the prices are rising. They rose quite a bit from when we put $$$$ down to hold a lot until we actually signed the contract to build, and that was only 4 months.

We did not look at resale. We wanted to opportunity to build what we wanted. We went with Cambridge for our builder. We have been very happy with how everything has been going. The builders all offer different style homes and prices, so it's a matter of what you are looking for.

Take your wife down there and spend a few days at the Celebration Hotel and I think she will be convinced.

I wish I was retired from working, but we have a long way to go before that happens.

We currently live in Northern ILL.
