We'll be down at WDW over the Christmas break and are planning a few non-park days. I've heard that Clebration has "snow" on their main street. We also snagged a Restraunts.com certificate for a pizza place there. Is the town worth a visit at Chrtistmas time? We'll be at WDW from the 18-31st. Is there much to see/do? Is it a fun atmosphere? Our kids are teens. Will there anything for them to see there?

TIA for any help.:goodvibes

Its cute to look around very quaint, some little shops including a gift shop and little clothes shop, It snows there as well every evening, very cute.(like foam bubbles), theres a litttle train or a horse and carriage for the kids and santas along the lakefront in a little cabin with his wife.
We caught carol singers while we was there, not sure if this is everynight???, its all very christmassy, lovely to look around all the decorations and the hotel serves lovely christmas hot drinks, well worth a visit.

As a resident of Celebration I can say that it is a very wonderful place to be for the holidays.

It does snow here nightly....hourly! They play Christmas music during the
"snowfalls" and it is very cute! The kids love to play in the snow and the best part is that the product they use for the snow will not damage clothing or shoes.

Every afternoon they close the main street to cover it with "snow". That is actually kinda fun to watch!

Last year we also had ice skating. The kids really seemed to enjoy that.

I would think twice about the pizza coupon and would not consider Market Street Cafe as an option.

If you come Monday-Friday the crowds are better and the following restaurants serve "happy hour" specials....Thai Thani, Imperium Wine Bar, Seito Sushi, Shannon's and our favorite Celebration Town Tavern.

We usually eat at these establishments before 7 pm. Shannon's happy hour is daily 12-7 pm.

If you need anything else...let me know.

Thanks for all of the information!:goodvibes

DSTTVL~ The pizza coupon that we have is for Angelina's. Is that the one we should skip?

I believe that Angelina's is at the Watertower at Celebration,. Watertower is not downtown Celebration where all the activities are. It is right of Rt 192 in a mini mall that houses the library, UPS, a local gym and the like. You could eat there and then take your car downtown but eating downtown might be more fun. Town Tavern is good. Grammynelliebelle
