Has anyone stayed there? It's located in Kissimmee. I'm looking at a 3br unit. If anyone has, can you tell me about the units? Are there tvs in the bedrooms and how are the pools?

We stayed at Celebration World Resort and it was ok! We were in a smallish one bedroom. It had eveything we needed and it was in good repair ( 2001). Everyone who worked there was friendly. I'd stay there again if the price was right.

:bounce: Stayed in 2002 in 2BR. Very disappointing resort. Only one pool, not enough pool louges, no umbrellas, almost no activities, quest service people could not understand english (go figure). Unit was not made up when checked in. Had to ask twice to have done. Left bedding in bag for us to put on. Garbage was to be left in walkway at night for pick up. It was outside unit two doors down for over two days and then I took it to dumpster so as not to have to look at.

Any other questions

Ohh, now I feel bad. If those things had happened on my Vacaiton I would have not given it the rating I had. I was there when it was fairly new, Maybe things have gone down hill. I'll have to rethink going back, if I get a chance to go there again!

Thanks for the replies. I guess I will have to look at other choices.

Thanks again,
Mary

this place is fine, we stayed here Labor Day weekend last year. The only problem we had was that I was booked through hotelkingdom.com (which they no longer offer this resort) & they tried putting us in the 1 bedroom senior (i.e. small) unit but I stated that it did not match the description that was on hotelkingdom. after the check in person called hotelkingdom, he switched me to the unit I was expecting. They are located almost across the street from Wyndham Palms Resort & CC & are nice & new inside. They did not have alot of activities going on due to lack of participation. They did offer hair wraps, which I remember paying only $1 for (as opposed to much more at the parks). The pool was perfect for the amount of guests there, it appeared that most guests were at the parks but we wanted to swim during the hot afternoon hours & visit the parks in the evenings. I would stay at this resort again in the future without hesitation. The bathroom was huge, offered a large enough for 2 walk in shower, double sinks, & spacious closet. In the master bedroom was a king bed (my daughter & I shared with out ever bumping each other) & tv & jacuzzi tub. Living room had a 55" tv, couch & chairs. patio was screened in & had tables & chairs. kitchen fully equipped, dishwasher, full size stove, full size refridgerator with ice maker, blender & toaster. There was also a stackable washer & dryer unit in the kitchen. Did not have any noise that bothered us but keep in mind that we live in an apartment & are used to close neighbors.
oh, just remembered one other thing. I have at&t cell service & had no service when at the resort but got about 1/2 mile up the road & service kicked back in.

Thanks Cinamin27,

I've been looking at this resort, it seems to look nice. They are offering a 3 br unit on SkyAuction and I think that would work out find. The location is fine. I'm sure they have more activities in place by now.

Thanks again,
Mary

Oh My! Do they do this regularly I am booked thru RCI and I booked it because it was a two bedroom that slept 8/8 with one king, one queen, two full and a sleep sofa. We have 8 adults and not everyone wants to sleep with someone else. and the description above would work. However I called them yesterday to ask about something and they looked up my reservation, told me I had a one bedroom, which of course I freaked. then they transferred me and told me I had a two bedroom but that it was one king, one queen and two sleep sofas. This is not what I was told I would get when I booked in February for July. They now have to deal with my RCI to fix this and I'm afraid they won't resolve it until I get there and the of course it 's too late because everyone is booked. My advice if you are booked into this resort, make sure you are getting what you are expecting. I am so nervous now about what I will find when I get there.....:( :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I was tempted by this resort too, but I just read the tripadvisor reviews and WOW! Nothing good to say about it. I know to take these reviews with a grain of salt, but really there wasn't anything good on there. It looks like they messed up a lot of peoples reservations and made them stay in hotels nearby! Even a family of 7 in a one room hotel room?????? And what is this $25 deal they keep talking about.

I thought maybe for us this would be nice because we aren't so interested in scheduled activities or a big pool area. We are more park commandos (my kids are older). But it would be nice to have a 3 BR suite for a cheap price.

We wouldn't be able to check in until late on the checkin day and I would be afraid that we would get sent somewhere else.

they seem to pull that senior one bedroom trick a lot....

the resort said it was rci that did i, rci said no the assignment were on the resorts end

we did finally get the one bedroom with the full kitchen we were promised.....

would not go back to this resort due to the "switches" they tried to make to our exchange
