Celebration Restaurants

I'm not sure where to post this question. We are going in Jan. on the DDP, however, a friend suggested that we check out Celebration. I am looking for opinions concerning spending some of our time at Celebration and what the restaurants are like.

Celebration is just a small town outside of disney. Their restaurants are basically normally places. I do like the Celebration Town Tavern (it's a sports bar with good food), and Marketplace Cafe. If you go to the Cafe, you have to try thier ham and cheese cassarole (Mac & Cheese with ham, it's VERY good).

Cafe D'Antonio is a nice little Italian restaurant. The Celebration Town Tavern is actually a sports bar, plus a New England style seafood and more restaurant. There is also the Market Street Cafe (on Front Street ). There is Seito, a Japanese sushi and steakhouse, and a Columbia restaurant.

I have eaten at Columbia and really enjoyed it. We had a party of 10 and most people got different things. Everything looked good and everyone enjoyed what the got. The mojitos were great! The food is kind of spanish-south american. I had chicken and shrimp over rice. It was wonderful.

Our waiter was very attentive and friendly as well.

I have never eaten at the Columbia in Celebration I eat at the one in St Augustine quite frequently and think it is pretty good. Here is a link to their website...

We've dined at Cafe d'Antonio's three times now and really enjoy it. One server even remembers the wine our DIL enjoys.

One thing I love about it is that white wine is served truly chilled.

I like celbration. We usually head down there at least one day during our trip. In 04 we did MNSSHP close to haloween and then brought the kids to celebration to go trick-or-treating. It was the best Halloween ever. Decorations were great.

We also went for C-mas that year and they had carriage rides and it snowed there too, like on Main st in MK.

We have only eaten at Seito, fo r sushi, and the diner typ place, can't remember the name, but we atet there about 3 or 4 times and then the new England-ish place for chowder, that was pretty good too.

Are resies suggested at Cafe D'Antonio? for a weeknight?

Always looking for someplace new & this looks like a winner.
