Celebration resort?

We are staying at Celebration resort next week, whats this place like? Does anybody have directions? any pics? we got a 1 bed suite, the celebration site doesnt really have any pic's of the smaller rooms.
We also payed $211 for the week, I have read some bad reviews about this place, but I guess for the money it cant be that bad!!

A week for $211 is a great price. I am staying there May 20 - 27 in a 1-bedroom suite as well but I think mine has a limited kitchen area. I've heard mixed reviews especially about 'bait-n-switch' tactics used to entice people to purchase the timeshare.

just make sure they do not try to put you in the "smaller" lockoff ....if you have won the side with the FULL kitchen....

the resort does this even to owners.... ( our hair dresser had it happen to her during spring break )

the ploy they use......is that RCI ( Skyauction ) does the assignments where in actuality the resort does....

we had it happen to us and we were not the only ones ....there were a couple of other people staying there who were suppost to have FULL kitchen and got placed in the smaller side .....

there are two Celebration - one is the timeshare

Celebration World resort in Kissimmee - this what I assuming you got.

the other is Celebration resort - this is a hotel (a very nice hotel) in Celebration.

If you got the timeshares I have stayed there 3 times. I loved it!!! It allows pets!!!

Lawgs - the opposite happen to us - I won a bid for the smaller size - it if even said mini-kitchen in the bid that I won - we got their late - very late - close to midnight (I called so they knew we were coming) - anyway we got a full kitchen!!! I was very surprised.

One of the reason we love this place so much is - it allows pets....

I don't know if a non-pet owner will appreciate it as much.

the Celebration resort at Celebration I have seem it - it is nice - but I haven't been inside it.

Just to let you know, we just got back and totally loved it.
We had won the auction for the mini kitchen room but we actually got the larger room with full kitchen. We we're really impressed considering the money we paid and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, we usually stay in a villa on the US27, This resort is much closer to disney.
