I won a first prize in the AP holder sweepstakes for a Q&A session. Too bad because I'm not going to drive up for just that.

I did too. Debating what to do. Was going to be down there anyways, but 11/13 which is the time I got is my flight out day (that evening)..... and I was planning on relaxing, checking out the Festival of the Masters at DTD, and doing the afternoon tea with my DGF.

That being said.... I'll probably see what she wants to do. We might be able to rearrange some things if she wants to go.

i'm guessing maybe about half... i don't imagine too many people who weren't already going will just drop everything for a 45 minute q&a session... but maybe some who weren't going will just go for that, and maybe as a part day at the parks...

i'm just thinking that's a lot of extra people in the parks on those days... it's gonna get crowded -- they better increase their frozen butterbeer order cause i'd hate for them to run out

Thanks Alicia! I checked it out and they've gone back up to $20-30 so I think I'll wait til I get there. Good to know Torrid has them though. I love torrid. They have a Torrid store at the mall of america.
If I pick up that shirt I'll get a Hogwarts patch on ebay and replace the ugly one that's on there now.

i'm coming from australia, and plan on shopping at torrid in store (@ the florida mall) while we're there, and stocking up big!!! i can buy online, but the shipping to Australia is more than the price of the clothes, so nov 15th, i'll be the crazy australian at the Torrid in the Florida Mall buying up everything!!!

Of course we're wondering and eagerly awaiting any new morsel of info that may be released. I expect only a minimal update and hope to be pleasantly surprised. My wishlist of info would include a complete list of celebs that will be present with whom will be at our specific sessions. Secondly would be more info on the Gala. And anything else would be just icing on the cake.

Well, I just got an email from Universal listing my reservation and telling me to go on line to view the whole thing. But, when I tried, first it wouldn't let me view it and then it said they were experiencing technical difficulties.

Me too. I'll be checking back every hour or so today. I really hope for more information but I just dunno what we will get.

That's odd, I have not yet recieved any such email from Universal. Guess I will just have to keep checking. My last email didn't come in until around 5pm or so. Hopefully this one will not take as long.

Are you in an onsite hotel? We are so that could explain why you haven't received anything. Also, this one came from a different email address. The one on the 26th came from a travel agency address and this one came from vacation express.com.

I'm onsite and I got an email. It isn't anything special though. Just says your vacation is in 10 days, and then has a link to see your final confirmation...but it isn't giving me any info when I click on it to see it. I'm hoping it will be up soon.

No. It's on the other side of Islands of Adventure from the WWOHP.


So Same park... but not in the Harry Potter area of the park.

(Which honestly, I'd be VERY surprised if they had a lot of the special events during park hours planned there simply due to the fact there aren't a lot of places within the WWOHP they could hold a big event within the section of the park.... let alone one which they could easily control to only those who are ticketed.)
