Anybody ever stay? How is it?

I stayed there on a HotWire win several a year ago. It was very nice. Service was great and the rooms are decorated nicely. The location was wonderful too. They have Disney transport, but I didn't use it so I have no idea how it worked.

That's great to know. I had no idea they accepted pets. We have been going to Universal for the last couple of years, because they are very accomodating with pets. We're taking our RV to WDW for Christmas, but we don't always want to stay in the RV. It's just not convenient for a weekend stay. I'm glad to know that we have another WDW option. It would be great if Swan/Dolphin would become pet friendly. I just don't get why they are the only Starwood hotels that don't allow them.

I'm just staying for a weekend away. Not at all worried about getting to the parks as I have an annual pass and live only an hour away. What is there to do around Celebration? Anyone use the Spa?

Glad to see you back!. I'm not stalking you, just hoping for more info. on the Celebration Hotel with pets. How pet friendly are they. Is it similar to the Universal Resorts, where they are more than welcome & can stay in the room, while you're at the park or dining, or are they like many resorts, who say pets are welcome, but they must be with you at all times? What good is that? You might as well stay home. We won't leave her in a kennel. Universal resorts are great, because we can go out for awhile, then return to check on her often. Will we have the same experience with the Celebration Hotel? TIA

Celebration World Resort in Kissimmee - is the one I am talking about. I really think you are talking about the Celebration Hotel on Celebration property - much more expensive.

the resort was pretty nice. I left him (I can't believe I actually left him) - and he was in the same place still asleep when we came back -so that was a good sign.

if someone he didn't know came in - he would be under the bed.

the employees here are excellent - the only one with a problem is the manager. He assigns the rooms - and for some reason that is a BIG problem. Everyone was very helpful.

Mother found the broom and mop around the clothes washer/dryer - and took them out - BIG mistake - Spicey got behind these things and they had to come and get him out.....I gave them a BIG tip.

Thanks for the info. Obviously I misunderstood the OP, and thought you were referring to the Celebration Hotel? Do you know if they accept pets? I'll check out the resort you were talking about. How far is it from WDW? Thanks again!

I stayed at the Celebration Hotel in Celebration right outside of Disney. According to the info in the room, pets are NOT allowed in the rooms at all.

The hotel was quiet and wonderful. Had a problem finding it the first night as signage is not good at all. Ended up stopping a resident and asking for decorations. Also parking was really bad as there really isn't parking for the hotel and downtown gets really busy at night.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did eat only breakfast at the hotel and it was wonderful and we stuffed ourselves. Didn't have dinner there, but that menu looked good and it was always packed there. They have several restraunts downtown and it's all within walking distance. It has that "Smallville" town feeling. Wierd but very neat at the same time. Walked the streets at midnight by myself and there's enough security and everything around that I felt safe. Lots of little shops around. The 192 is just a couple miles down the street and WDW is only about 5 minutes away by car.
