Celebration Buttons/Badges

This may seem a strange question.
We are at POR from July 4th. This will be our First Time in WDW. We have been to Paris before. While we're there it will be our wedding anniversary, nothing special though. Also a couple of weeks after we get back it is our son's 16th Birthday. The holiday is a celebration at completing his GCSE's.
I've seen lots of reports of people getting Birthday/Wedding Anniversary Badges etc and the Disney Video shows First Timer badges. With having the UK tickets and staying on Disney do your Key to the Kingdom passes not have your date of birth on them?
I would not want to be caught out with asking for a Birthday Button for him, so whether just to ask for the first timers Buttons for all of us.
Are the Badges different for each Park/ Resort? Where's the best place to ask? I would feel really cheeky going for them all.

You may have as many buttons as you need! You can ask for them when you check in at the resort. They may have the information already that this is your first visit, but you can certainly let them know, and that you are celebrating your anniversary and your son's birthday.

The buttons are the now the same at all parks and you can get them at resort. If you don't feel comfortable asking for them all at the same time then get your first time and maybe your anniversary button at check in and then ask for the Birthday Button in the first park you go to. They won't aks your birthday, Just let them know you are celebrating his birthday this trip and they will give it to you.

I have seen ppl wearing all three buttons at once...Disney doesn't care as long as you are spending your celebrations with them.
I would strongly suggest telling them at your resort when you plan on celebrating each of these events. You may get a surprise in your room...we did!

From what I saw the buttons are all the same at the park and resorts. I had the just married button, kept forgetting to wear mine ;p and I kept getting yelled and a new button.
