Today was our last full day and we always like to go to DHS, and this time to try and catch Toy Story Mania. Well we got to DHS for just after 9.15am and walked up to TSM  there was such as queue and fast pass was set at after 4pm.

It was also busy elsewhere in the park.

So we decided to give this a miss and caught the bus to the TTC so that we could ride the monorail back to Epcot. I do like this direction of travel as you go through Futureworld.

Once at Epcot we had a wander through Future World and up to Worldshowcase.

Then through Canada.

Then the UK. It was so nice getting pictures when no-one else was around :)

To get to International Gateway so that we could walk back to the BWI. As we did so I paused to look across from the UK to France and Morocco beyond that.

We then took a leisurely walk back to the BWI.

En route we stopped off at the Boardwalk Bakery to get a snack. I must say for a resort as big as this there is little in the way of counter service and hence the BB is very busy in the morning, plus you have to be served here with the refills for the refillable mugs which adds to the queue.

I had the carrot cake and apple juice.

Nathan had the chocolate croissant and orange juice.

It was nice sitting on the Boardwalk as we ate but the gulls were lurking waiting for any food that was left or dropped. On the way back to the room we passed through the lobby to get some pictures.

Along with some exterior front pictures of the BWI and across to DHS.

By now it was 11am and time for the pool.

We stayed down by the pool for a good few hours and then went and showered and changed as we were off to Beaches and Cream for an early dinner :knfork:

We got seated quickly and I ordered the turkey club.

While Nathan had the hot dog.

The café is quite small and is quite a draw for residents of the area resorts and also visitors to the parks.

It was then time for some ice cream and I had the sundae with mint choc chip and coffee ice cream.

Nathan decided to go for the banana split!

Feeling full we took the boat back to the BWI.

Tonight was our last night ritual, weather permitting, of going to see IllumiNations and as always it didn’t disappoint and was a great way to end the holiday.

Tomorrow we would be doing Downtown Disney check in as we could not pre assign our seats when we booked.

Another excellent TR accompanied by some more great pics.
Thanks for the update and I'm looking forward to the next one.
I take it you didn't have room for a Kitchen Sink after your dinner then:thumbsup2

Claire,
Your photos are exceptional in two ways; 1) They're just gorgeous. and 2) The entire series is nearly free of those pesky park guests who usually clutter up our vacation pictures. Fun to see your monorail shots--some familar spots from a slightly elevated angle.

Even though you didn't spend as much time in DHS as you intended it certainly looks like the day turned into one filled with wonderful memories.

Lovely pics as ever :) Especially the empty Epcot ones. I never realised the Le Cellier building was so tall!

Beaches & Cream looks amazing, I really want to go there next time!

great photos of your last day
