Can you celebrate a special event (birthday, anniversary, etc.), even if the dates don't fall during your trip? DH & I honeymooned at WDW 18 yrs. ago this past April (which means our anniversary was a little less than a month ago). We'll be back at WDW in (gosh!) 9 days. We are going to pick one special meal for this trip and I was wondering if it would be OK to tell the CM's that we're celebrating our anniversary (a month late....).

Ofcourse you can. An anniversary dinner is still an anniversary dinner, even if you missed the day by a bit:)

You should figure that many if not most families consider their trip to WDW to be a special occasion, whether it is because of a specific birthday or anniversary, or just because. Theoretically, folks can celebrate any event within 365 days of that event, before or after! :) Disney works to make every guests' visit special, regardless.

Our family has 6 September birthdays. When we got married last October we celebrated all the birthdays at Ohana's. We even ordered a cake.
