Celebrating a birthday, first time cruisers.

I'd like a bottle of champagne in our stateroom when we arrive to celebrate my DSis birthday. If I'm reading the gift shop correctly, someone has to be in the room for delivery? If we go to lunch or swimming at embarkation when would it be delivered? Thanks.

We have never done this, but do get a bottle of wine as our platinum gift. It has always just been left in the stateroom without anyone needing to be there.

Will there be children in your stateroom?

If you have people who are under 21 in the stateroom, they will not deliver without an over 21 yr old adult present. If you are sailing out of TX, they will not deliver until you leave port/are out on open water.
