I'm getting close to my ADR day for our Thanksgiving trip. My birthday is Thanksgiving day so it's my choice. :D I would like some opinions on your favorite character breakfasts (costumed, not face characters) and favorite restaurants for Thanksgiving dinner. Inside or outside the parks. We have done Ohana, Cape May and Tusker house for breakfast before and enjoyed those, just looking for some other ideas. We have had Thanksgiving dinner at Le Cellier and did not like it so anywhere but there!

Thanks!

I’ve never been during Thanksgiving, so can’t help with that part.

For character breakfast, I like Crystal Palace. The breakfast food is buffet, so it’s fine but nothing outstanding. However, I enjoy seeing Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, & Eeyore.

Eeyore is my favorite character! :eeyore: We've had lunch there but I've not thought about breakfast there. Thanks!

Chef Mickeys is an option for breakfast if you haven't done it before. It would be Ohana for me for dinner with Liberty Tree Tavern as my second choice. Both are nice sit down "family style" meals.

We're going to Ohana on a different day of the trip, it's a favorite. We've not done CM, it gets such bad reviews. Is breakfast better than dinner?

Well the girls 2 favorite character breakfasts are Stitch's at Poly and Garden Grill at Epcot. For a Thanksgiving dinner I would probably go old school and eat at Liberty Tree Tavern. But is cost is not an issue I have send out another vote for my favorite WDW restaurant Jiko.

I've only been to Chef Mickey's for dinner and it was mediocre and hectic. I've heard breakfast is better, though. Might be with a shot? I would recommend Garden Grove, which I love, but they only do character breakfasts on weekends. :(

I didn't know GG only does that on weekends - good to know! Thanks!

We loved Boma for Thanksgiving Dinner a few years ago. Favorite character breakfasts are Crystal Palace, Cape May, and Tusker House.

We will be there that week as well. When do you arrive? Where are you staying?

That is my birthday, too, this year. When we were at DIsney a few years ago on Thanksgiving, certain restaurants had Thanksgiving dinners.

Thanks! I was thinking about trying Boma. We’re coming down Friday the 16th and leaving the 23rd. We’re camping in our travel trailer at the Fort. We camped there Thanksgiving in 2016 and it was so fun! My parents are going as well but they are staying at Pop. Where are you staying?

We are fans of Crystal Palace breakfast. Yummy food, fun characters and a pretty setting. Garden Grill breakfast is fun and yummy too.....if I was having a special occasion breakfast there, I would definitely request a lower level table (for better picture background/lighting).

We arrive on the 16th as well and leave on the 25th. Last trip a few years ago we went to HDDR and walked around FW a little afterwards to see the decorations. We are staying at POR. Are you doing MVMCP?

Have you stayed there before? We’re thinking about trying it sometime.

I don’t think we’re doing MVMCP. We talked about, but we went in 2016 and it was just so crowded. We really enjoyed the parade and fireworks but I’m not really sure it was worth it. I think we are going to do the JBJB dessert party if they do that again this year. We’ve never done that. Are you going to the party on the 16th?

We have stayed at FQ but not there. Yes we are doing the party. Where are you from?

Our kids really enjoyed the breakfast. Pretty standard food. A good meal from what I remember...no complaints!
