Celebrating a birthday at Disney...early?

Hi,

Tried searching for this, but had trouble finding anything.

For my birthday this year, my parents are taking me to Disney World. However, because of school, we're going a week before my actual birthday. Am I still allowed to tell them we're celebrating my birthday and get the pin and cupcake or do they only let you do that if it's your actual birthday?

The last time I went to WDW, it was 8 days before my actual Birthday. My boyfriend and I kindly explained to castmembers that, although it was not yet my Birthday, we were CELEBRATING it. Everyone at Disney was very kind, and I was still allowed to get the pin, and a cupcake at Chef Mickey character break fast. I even got a card signed by Stitch delivered to my Hotel room at Pop Century It all depends on the CM that you talk to, I believe. Hope this helps, and Happy Birthday!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I hope that when I go, they'll do the same! Even though I know it sounds silly to want a "Today's My Birthday" pin when it's not the day of my birthday

You can probably get a button, but you will not be eligible for the Free Ticket on your Birthday/Free Gift Card Promotion. They only allow that on your actual birthdate.
