Celebrating a 7th birthday onboard

This is my very first post so please forgive me if it's in the wrong place!!

We are going to WDW for our very first trip at the end of May. We're doing a 3-Day Land/4-Day Sea cruise package. Our son will turn 7 on the day we embark. Can someone tell me what sorts of things we can do to make his day extra special?

You should be able to call DLC and they will have some options. Our travel agent and a birthday cake waiting in our cabin for our DS's birthday that was a few days prior to our cruise. The cake was actually really good!

I'm sure they can help you with a cake and a happy birthday banner and they will have everything setup in your cabin for when you arrive. You can also get a customized basket delivered. Many people on this board recommend Shirley at the Perfect Gift. www.theperfectgift.cc
