I am so happy for you. I have thought about driving up for a day during the time you are there as it is over my spring break but I haven't made up my mind yet.

SIOH's high school band is going to be in the World and we have all agreed to help with them, so we will be "on call". We will be in DTD that night (when we are off duty) and have decided on treats at Goofy's Candy Company - would you want to meet us for candy?

With a 2 hour drive home in the evening I don't see staying very late. I assume you are leaving on Thursday- not spending the day somewhere. What are you doing as on call for the band. I have a season pass so I can go anytime(and it isn't that far a drive) so I don't care if we go to a park- but I could go it doesn't really matter- meeting you all would be the fun of it.

Rebecca - I talked to SIOH and we still really don't know our "assignments". We may even be split up that day - working at different parks. If you want, I will PM you a cell and you can call us to check!

Even though I'm glad for you guys, can I be really, really jealous? No WDW for us this year, short vacation and a wedding instead. Have a wonderful time!

Of course you can be jealous. You can even be envious if you want. No vacation to WDW for us this year either. With FIL on the mend, my DH won't want to be gone far this year.

OT-He is home and giving my MIL plenty of grief about having to get up to the table to eat and taking showers, so he is going to be fine.

"Grief" is usually a good sign! We'll have to think good thoughts about those lucky ones visiting wdw this year Maybe next year!
