Where does this show take place? Thanks! Also, is it stationary or still like a parade?

It's like a parade (ie: moving, not a stage show), and takes place on the usual parade route. When you get to the Park they'll have schedules (you get them when & where you get a Park map) that'll tell you when it & other shows, plus fireworks are. Or, if you absolutely need to know in advance, the showtimes should be on the online Park calendar at the disneyland.com website, as long as your trip is no more than about a month away. (It's updated kind of slowly) Hope that answers your questions :wizard:

Are there any characters in this parade? Is it worth seeing? I know we want to see the Pixar parade, just don't know much about this one.

There were a ton of characters when we saw it. That I can think of right now, we saw (and got decent pics of) Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Chip & Dale, Woody, Jessie, Pinocchio, Gepetto, Tigger, Pooh and Pluto. There are also CM's walking on stilts, and in pretty costumes dancing all over. It was a very high-energy, fun parade. Here are a few pics I got of it:

Also, wanted to add, I personally feel it's a must-see. It's just so cool. The music and the dancing, they pull people in to dance with them, confetti, etc. I actually saved a piece of the (mickey head shaped) confetti. Each float has a designated place on the route it stops, and the closer you are to one of those, the better.

However, they all run all over and switch floats, get wheeled around on bikes, etc so you still every character for a decent amount of time. You just see more of the ones that are on the float closest to you. It's a great way to get into the disney mood. Dh and I were lucky enough to walk in about 30 mins before it started, sat down right up front, and this was our first into to our vacation. It got us so excited and pumped up for the weekend!

Great info...thanks! Where do you think the best place to sit is? We'll be arriving on Wednesday and won't get in to the park until about 5:00 p.m. The parade starts at 7:00, so we thought we'd do a couple of rides and then watch the parade.

Even though this parade moves, it makes 3 parade stops so it's stationary. The 3 areas are by Tea Cups-IASW, patio of Coke Corner-Pixie Hollow, & Emporium-Coke Corner, so a good spot to sit would be in the middle of one of the show stop areas. It also shows where they are located in the park map & the time schedule also says what time the parade will come by the certain stop you are at. So if the parade starts @ 6:30 and starts on MS & you are by IASW, then the schedule would tell you that for you, the parade will start @ 7:00 (I hope that made sense).

In my opinion, I really don't like this parade, but if it's your 1st time watching it, then I would say to go & see it. Between this 1 & the Pixar PP, I like Pixar waaaayyyyy more & that 1 is a regular moving parade.

We made PS (reservations) at Carnation Cafe for a half an hour before Celebrate started. I let the host know that we were interested in seeing the show since we hadn't before, he gave us a table right next to Main St, we had a wonderful view.
