Uhmm.. Ive never been anywhere really and Im gonna be in a car for 5 hours.. And im going to Cedar Point in Ohio.
So
1) Are the beaches always open?
2) What rides MUST i go on? ( I dont do dropzones )
3) What should I do in the car?


Im going for 4 days and Ive never really BEEN anywhere.. XD

Im excited.

I've never been to Cedar Point but I work at the sister park in Ohio, Kings Island!

For car rides I usually listen to music. I get car sick so reading is pretty much out for me, but if you don't get sick then they might be an option.

Cedar Point is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

I was in the car for 3 hours (I went for a Band Adjudication), and I did fine with my PSP

Make sure to go to youtube and watch the rides. Bring lots of money for food, it's expensive.

Not sure about the waterpark. Go to www.CedarPoint.com for hours on your particular day.

YOU MUST GO ON MILLENNIUM FORCE!

Don't go on Top Thrill Dragster, the line's forever and it always breaks down.

AHHHHH!!!! CEDAR POINT IS FREAKING AMAZING!

I used to live 45 minutes from it. I had season passes a few summers ago too. It has all sorts of rides! Go on ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you can!

I'm not sure about the beaches, though.

Yes bring money for food! lol It can and will get expensive fast!

Rides that I love:
Magnum, Raptor, maXair, gemini, blue streak, disaster transit(or something like that), and a few more. But it has tons of rides! You'll have fun! =)

And I agree, I think Top Thrill is a waste of time. It always breaks down and you wait 2-4 hours for a 30 second ride....in the heat. 0.o

Cedar Point has the absolute BEST coasters anywhere! My faves are Maverick, Wicked Twister, Raptor, MF, and Magnum (in that order). Those are the MUST DO rides IMO. I don't do Dropzones either!
We were just there last week for 4 days and I already miss it! I grew up 20 minutes from CP but now we live 2-3 hours away.

We arent buyign food there either Im gonna stop at a grocery store adn buy stuff. We have a cabin so we're gonna cook there.

Great! Saves A TON of money! You can get a hand-stamp and leave/come back without buying a new ticket.

Id do top thrill dragster. Long line but no big deal. Do it first thing in the morning when you get there. 2nd fastest coaster in the world. Its clearly a must do attraction.

We actually bought seasons passes instead of buyign separate days for 60$ each. ^_^ Whats a good grocery store in the states??

My family always goes to ShopRite, but they might be an East Coast thing.
I only wouldn't reccommend Kings, they're really overpriced, and the quality isn't as good as the price might make you think.

Grocery stores are pretty regional in the US. There are Publix's and Winn Dixie's here all over the place but there are none in Ohio. Wal Mart has a grocery store and its a national place.

Dunno never been to Cedar point. If you get there at opening most you will have to wait for the front is 10 minutes.

There should be a Kroger in Sandusky. Maybe Meijer too. I prefer Kroger...it's based in Cincinnati and is the largest grocery chain in the United States.
